…WHAT IS ELTRA?

ELTRA is a new type of battery-powered “pusher-trailer” that pushes the vehicle to which it is attached.

When ELTRA is pushing, driving becomes a downhill ride.

• Because powered ELTRA pushes any vehicle it is attached to, that vehicle's built-in engine does not have to work as hard. To be clear, the vehicle’s engine and driver are still working as usual - but with a much lower workload.

• ELTRA extends range of EVs and is there to support surge capacity.

• ELTRA saves fuel —> lower emissions.

• ELTRA reduces wear and tear on a drivetrain and brakes by undertaking some of the load (both accelerating and braking). That saves money.

• ELTRA will help reduce driver workload (e.g., suggesting the “proper” speed in stop-and-go or merging traffic…)

• With the assist of ELTRA, any vehicle will handle better and be safer due to ELTRA's additional traction and control algorithms.

• There are a number of ensuing or complementary benefits from ELTRA that will succeed if ELTRA succeeds. ELTRA is all of the following and more:

  • A generalized surge capacity for EV range.

  • High-density power units that can be reallocated as needed.

  • A gateway that allows independently driven vehicles to convoy for highly efficient transportation.

  • A “smart” way to back-hybridize any vehicle with traffic-aware A.I.
